How Chatdue works, from sign-up to your first analysis
Setting up takes a few minutes. You will need your phone with WhatsApp and a second screen for the QR code.
Create an account
Sign up with your email and a password, then enter the 6-digit code we email you. No card is needed and the free trial starts right away.
Name your workspace
Add your name and your company’s name. Team members can be invited later, with access to selected modules.
Connect a WhatsApp number
In the dashboard, open WhatsApp numbers and add a number — a QR code appears. On your phone open WhatsApp → Settings → Linked devices → Link a device, and scan the code.
Signing up on your phone?The QR code has to be scanned with the phone that has the WhatsApp number, so the code must be on another screen. Create the account on your phone if you like, then open the dashboard on a computer or tablet to connect the number.
Let the history load
WhatsApp sends recent chat history to the linked device; how far back depends on WhatsApp, usually recent months rather than everything. New messages arrive as they happen, and metrics such as unanswered chats and response time start filling in.
Start the analysis yourself
Choose one chat, a filtered list, a number or a date range and start the AI analysis. Voice notes, images and supported documents in those chats are turned into text during the run.
Review the results and act
Open “Who to write to today”, filter by deal stage or objection, compare numbers or export to Excel. Copy a suggested reply and send it from WhatsApp.
How the analysis limit is counted
- The first analysis of a conversation counts every message it reads.
- Running it again after new messages arrive counts only the new messages.
- A conversation with no new messages isn’t sent to the AI again and isn’t counted.
- Changing the analysis fields or choosing a date range reads the conversation again and counts it again.
- If the remaining limit is smaller than a conversation, the most recent messages are analysed.
What you need
- The WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app on the phone with the number.
- A computer or tablet to show the QR code while you scan it.
- An email address for the account and the confirmation code.
Questions and answers
Is all of my chat history imported?
Not necessarily. WhatsApp decides how much history it shares with a linked device — usually recent months. Everything after connecting is collected while the number stays linked and your plan is active.
What happens if I unlink the number on my phone?
Collection stops for that number. The data already collected stays, and you can connect again with a new QR code.
Are group chats included?
Not by default. You can turn on group chats for each number.
